October Snow!

Every October, Colorado usually gets snow sometime around Halloween. One of the signs that you're from Colorado is you plan your Halloween costume around what coat you can wear over it! This year we did not get snow on Halloween - instead we got dumped on 3 days before.

The snow started falling on Tuesday night Oct. 27th. We got a few inches overnight and it just kept dumping all day on Wednesday. We shoveled twice, then decided to head to a lake nearby to go tubing!

Both Humans and Dogs had a blast playing in the snow that afternoon! The snow kept falling Wed night into Thursday. We shoveled again Thursday morning and by the afternoon it had let up and the driveway stayed clear. The total snowfall ranged from 15" - 21" in the back yard. While clearing off the tree branches in the back yard and shoveling the back patio, I played snow frisbee with the pups. They love it! Below are a few more snow pictures from the back yard.
